Ask the universe. Ask social media. Ask your family and friends.
A client recently mentioned that she needs to get on the whole garnering reviews train. And sure enough, when I went to Amazon, her latest book has zero reviews.
Gathering reviews for your work doesn’t need to be a hard process. The easiest, quickest way to get your first review? Ask.

Ask friends via Facebook or social media.

Email a blogger you’re on good terms with and ask her if she’d be willing to read and review your latest release.
See. That’s not too hard or time consuming. It’s not like your setting up an elaborate blog tour or review crew.
You’re simply asking for what you need in a few low barrier places, all heartfelt and genuine.
So the next time you find yourself in need of something, remember to ask for it. Sometimes putting it out into the universe is all you need to do.
